Authority: Turkey is hierarchical. The US is egalitarian.
Communication: Turkey is indirect. The US is direct.
Structure: Turkey wants rules. The US wants flexibility.
The biggest friction point is direction.
In Turkish culture, the manager often sets the path. In American culture, the manager invites dialogue.
